CNC coolants / forging die lubricants / die casting lubricants must be thoroughly mixed with water in correct ratios. If not mixed correctly, following problems are encountered:
High consumption of coolant / lubricant
Low sump life due
Bad smell from sump
Reduced tool life due to improper emulsification
Along with use of a good coolant / lubricant, it is essential to mix these in correct ratios in water.
Accurate Proportioner is used for effective mix of coolants/ lubricants or any such concentrate with water in pre-determined ratio.
The desired proportion or percentage must be set on the Accurate Proportioner. Only water inlet with 4 to 7 bar pressure is required to run the Accurate Proportioner. As water is inlet into the equipment, its pistons move and create a suction vaccuum. This vaccuum withdraws the coolant / lubricant concentrate directly from the drum through suction pipe. The coolant concentrate is then mixed thoroughly or emulsified with water in the equipment. The correctly mixed solution of coolant and water is delivered through the outlet pipe.
Once the correctly mixed solution is created using Accurate Proportioner, there are many options to dispense these in the sump of CNC. These are:
. CNC coolant mixed with water is delivered directly into many CNC sumps manually, using a long pipe attached to the outlet of Accurate Proportioner
. CNC coolant mixed with water is delivered into a mother sump, which is then connected to multiple sumps
. If direct water connection is provided into each sump, the Accurate Proportioner can be used to deliver CNC coolant mixed with water into this connection. A float valve and solenoid valve can be used to automatically deliver the mixed solution into each sump as soon as the coolant level is reduced.
Hence, Accurate Proportioner and accessories can be used to completely automate mixing of coolant with water and delivery of the mixed solution into each sump.
